With over a decade of experience, Megan Cummings has devoted her career to standing up for injury victims across Florida, resolving thousands of claims and securing numerous six- and seven-figure settlements and verdicts.
Her path to advocacy
Called to the courtroom from an early age.
Raised in a small Illinois town, Megan knew from childhood that she wanted to become a lawyer.
After moving to Florida, she earned an honors degree in criminology from the University of Tampa before continuing to Stetson University College of Law. There, Megan earned the Whele Award for top performance in trial advocacy and the Doyle Award for negotiation and mediation.
She also completed competitive internships involving federal judges, corporate counsel, and criminal-justice initiatives before graduating cum laude in 2014. Her hands-on personal injury work began during law school and continued immediately after she joined the Florida Bar.
